Job Description:

A Secondary School Teacher instructs students at the secondary level normally in a particular subject and therefore needs a good foundation in the subject. Most secondary school teachers have responsibilities in addition to their subject teaching such as social education programs and a range of extra curricular activities from sports and drama to school outings.

Opening:

Well qualified and trained Secondary School Teachers, are in great demand and can join reputed public schools or government schools as Post-graduate Teachers. They are also in demand at various coaching institutes, which prepare candidates for different competitive exams like IIT-JEE and CPMT etc. Then of course the option of private tuitions also exist which are very remunerative, although most well known schools do not permit their teachers for imparting private tuitions.

Remuneration:

Starting salary is Rs. 7,500 per month (excluding other allowances)
