Job Description:

They work with individuals who have problems that they find difficult to face alone. Such persons usually do not suffer from any mental illness, but are often emotionally distressed, due to some conflict within them or in the environment. Behavioral Counselors use techniques to help individuals overcome such stress.

Opening:

Behavioural Counsellors are employed in large corporate organizations in private and public sectors, Educational institutions, old age homes, hospitals clinics and welfare and delinquents correction centres. They also have the option to set up their own practice.

Remuneration:

Starting salary is Rs. 6,500 per month (excluding other allowances)
