Job Description:
Physiotherapists work with patients who are disabled
by an accident or illness or those who have congenitally impaired bodily
functions. They help patients to regain mobility and prevent permanent
disability. Besides working with such patients physiotherapists also help
players in their physical training. As a matter of fact this particular aspect
has brought the profession to the limelight.
The job of a Physiotherapist is preventive,
restorative and rehabilitative. They treat healed fracture of bones, sprains,
neurological disorders caused by trauma, infection paralysis etc. Therapeutic
agents like heat, radiation, and water are used along with massage and exercise
to cure weak muscles and restore joint movements.

Degree/Diploma in Physiotherapy

Opening:
Apart from openings in big hospitals/nursing homes,
rehabilitation centres and other such medical establishments, Physiotherapists

Remuneration:
Starting salary is Rs. 6,500 per month (excluding other allowances)
