Job Description:
Medical Technologist also known as Laboratory
Technicians, do laboratory tests which help doctors in correctly diagnosing a
disease. They work in pathological labs and conduct various tests and analysis
on human blood, stool, urine etc. They are also involved in preparation of
vaccines, labelling blood groups for transfusions and preparation of slides
from sample tissues and body cells. Medical technologists are also trained in
operating various instruments like ECG.
Educational Qualification:
Degree or Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology
