Job Description:Journalists reporting on a topic of specialization like politics, foreign affairs, finance or sports are called Correspondents or Special Reporters. They do not just report news but analyse and comment upon it. Such journalists may either be academically qualified in the particular discipline or acquire specialization through work experience. Newspapers also hire columnists who specialize and write on a particular subject. Such ‘syndicated columnists’ may contribute to a number of newspapers at the same time.
