Job Description:The main job of the Development Officer is to monitor the sales of business policies in the region where he is appointed and to recruit agents, train them for procurement of new business and servicing of old policies. The DO who is committed to their responsibilities can achieve the ranks of Officer and even Managing Director.
Educational Qualification:Graduate in the age group 21-26 years, are eligible to appear in Written Competitive Exam, followed by an Interview, conducted by GIC and LIC. There is a possibility that private Indian and foreign companies may be allowed to operate in this sector. Remuneration:Starting salary is Rs. 7,500 per month (excluding other allowances) |
