Company Secretaries

Job Description:
In a
large or a medium size business organization his responsibilities include
incorporation of the company, processing applications for management
appointments, remunerations, inter-corporate investment and loans, handling
public issues including listing of shares and debentures, conducting meeting of
the Board of Directors of the firm, maintenance of records, registers and
minutes of the meetings. They act as the authorised representative of a company
with regard to filing, registering, presenting, attesting or verifying any
document on behalf of the company. As the authorised official of the company
the Company Secretary signs the annual returns of the company.
Educational Qualification:
Membership
of the Institute of the Company Secretaries of India, Headquarters located in
New Delhi.

Opening:
The
job opportunities are available in business organizations, cooperative
societies, trusts, associations, federations, Board of Directors or a
Council or any other corporate structure. Besides these the department of
Personnel and Administrative Reforms of the Central Government empanels Company
Secretaries for assignments to the Developing Countries of Asia, Africa and
Latin America.
Remuneration:
Starting salary is Rs. 10,000 per month
(excluding other allowances)
