Job Description:
The Officers
working in this branch have a legal background (Law Graduates) and deal with
all matters related to law like disciplinary cases, court–martials, drafting
charges and conducting prosecution. They also give general legal advice to deal
with civil cases and to staff. They are known as Judge Advocate General (JAG).
This field is also open for women candidates.

(iv) Status Awarded - Lieutenant
in Regular Army.
B)
Short
Service Commission (SSC) (Women Special Entry)

(i) Academics - Law Degree (Professionals) with 50% marks.
(ii) Age - Between 21 and 27 years
B)
Short
Service Commission (SSC) (Women Special Entry)
(i) Academics - Post Graduate/Graduate Degree with diploma
in specified Subject/L.L.B. (Professional).
(ii) Age - Between 19 and 27 years

Remuneration:
Starting
salary is Rs. 8,250 (excluding other allowances), which reaches an amount of
Rs. 10,050 within 6/7 years.
