Administrative Officer
Job Description:
Administrative Officer plays a very vital role and is
responsible for personnel management and administration of the Air Force Bases.
To keep the all Air Bases operationally prepared is the key role. He also act
as a fighter controller, if situation arises.

(i) Type of Entry - Direct Entry through UPSC.
(ii) Mode of Selection - Through Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) and getting
through Air Force Selection Board (AFSB).

Newspapers/Employment News twice a year in the months of January and July for
Administrative.
(iv) Status Awarded - Administrative Officer
Qualification:
Academics - Bachelors
Degree 60% and above.
Masters Degree 50% and above.
Age - 20 to 23 years Graduates.
20 to 25 years Post Graduates.

Remuneration:
Starting salary is Rs. 8,250, which reaches Rs. 10,050
within 6/7 years.
Note: Short Service Commission for Women is open
since 1992. The Women are also inducted as an Administrative Officer in the Air
Force. All other qualifications and eligibility conditions remain the same
except; they must be unmarried. Length
of Short Service Commission is upto 7 years and extendable up to 10 years.
