Job Description:
Account Officer, plan and forecast the budgetary
requirements of the Air Force. He also required analyzing the cost and fund
requirements; monitor the expenditure and unit funds. Account Officer not only
function as a financial controller but also diversify financial activities in
welfare and inter-personal relationships, which have great impact on the morale
of the Air Force.

through Air Force Selection Board (AFSB).

Qualification:
Academics - B.Com/B.Com
(Hons.) 60% and above.
M.Com 50% and above.
Age - 20 to 23 years B.Com
20 to 25 years M.Com
Note: Age is relaxable up to 27 years of age for
candidates with AICWA/Chartered/Registered/Incorporated Accountant together
with B. Com. or M. Com. Degree.

Remuneration:
Starting salary is Rs. 8,250, which reaches Rs. 10,050
within 6/7 years.
Note: Short Service Commission for Women is open
since 1992. The Women are also inducted
as an Account Officer in the Air Force. All other qualifications and
eligibility conditions remain the same except; they must be unmarried. Length of Short Service Commission is upto 7
years and extendable upto 10 years.
