Meteorology
It
is an interdisciplinary science involving study of the atmosphere and
monitoring and analyzing its changes, to make interpretations and
predictions for the benefit of man. The work of a Meteorologist entails
not just collection and interpretation of weather information but also
meteorological research with an aim to help in areas like air-pollution
control, agriculture, air and sea transportation, defence, global warming,
droughts and ozone depletion.
